September
Here we are – back into routine, and I for one, am very happy about that. We are excited to be continuing with our new curriculum this year – Rio from David C. Cook publishing. One of the things that makes me the most pleased with the decision is that it provides more tools than ever before for parents.
These tools are designed to help you integrate the lessons of Scripture into your family’s everyday life…in fun but teachable ways.
Each month, a table top card will be sent home with 6 activities on it for you to do at your leisure. All are based on the focus for that given month.
This month- we are spending time in Bible accounts that show us that God will never leave us. If you didn’t get that card, but want one, please let me know, and I’ll send it along to you.
Our memory verse for the month is from Deuteronomy 4, the second half of verse 31: “[The LORD] will not abandon or destroy you or forget the covenant with your forefathers.”
Read together from Genesis: 37:1–11, 18–36; 39:1–5
For discussion…do you ever remember you dreams? What were some of your strangest?, or nicest? Do ever wonder what they mean?
How does it feel for you to know that God will never leave you – no matter what? Talk together about just what that means.
