Joyfully Yours expresses just how I feel about where God has placed me.  I am the Director of Children’s Ministries at St. Giles Kingsway Presbyterian Church in Etobicoke (Toronto).  I cannot believe, still, that I get paid to do what I do.  Having grown up in a minister’s home, I had quality christian education modelled for me.  Now that I have lived some years as the Pastor’s Wife, I have become passionate about delivering life changing christian education to our children.

I hope to share some wisdom, creativity, and general reflections that will be helpful to the families who call either service at SGK home, be it our 10am service, or The Well at 11:15.  The ministries are very different, but the desire to see your children in realtionship with Christ is the driving force of what we do.

At times, I will share what is going on with our ministries, and at others times, it will be things on my mind.  Always, it will be real.

I am married to my best friend.  Together we have been incredibly blessed.  We travel, have fun, and live a pretty ideal life.  We are both in ministry – he’s the pastor at St. Paul’s Presbyterian Church in Nobleton.  North Bay is being built in HO scale in our basement.  This is a hobby I am happy to cheerlead for, and am constantly amazed at his creative side.

I love to craft – all kinds of things.  My craft room is full of “someday” projects, and occasionally I actually get to them.
